My sister and I were interested in a lesson at Carinthia and did not know if they even offered those lessons. Mount snow arranged for us to have a lesson with Chris and I can tell you I have greatly improved on Carinthia trails. Chris was extremely patient with us and covered all of the aspects you need to know for a jump (such as timing and speed). He really knows his stuff. He gave us immediate, helpful feedback every time we attempted a feature. His super friendly personality was a plus as well. Overall, the lesson my sister and I had with Chris really helped us improve in our terrain park skills and we will definitely will have another lesson with him again.

Never felt so comfortable and happy trying a sport I never thought I do and Chris made that possible for me. Have each of us goals to work on, always watched us and Guided us throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.

I had a chance to ski with Chris for a 2-hour lesson, and I would highly recommend him to any student who wants to pick up good tips and tricks to carry on for their independent practice. Chris was able to point out my issue right away and kept me engaged throughout the lesson to retrain my brain and muscle memory as I wasn't balancing myself correctly. I will definitely come back for another lesson with Chris!

I signed up for a 2 hour private lesson with Chris and he was amazing. He immediately dialed into the areas I needed to work on and provided drills that addressed them. I would strongly recommend him if you're looking to improve your skiing.

I've had three lessons with Chris this season. He is friendly and enthusiastic and also a very good instructor. I came to him hoping to improve in bumps and trees, and he is good at diagnosing technical issues and suggesting drills to help overcome those issues. He is also a very clear communicator and easy to learn from. The third time we skied with my eight-year-old daughter, who had been losing interest in skiing, and Chris was great with her. She had the most fun skiing that she's had in the past two years. We're both going back for more lessons with Chris.

Chris Shea is truly a spectacular person! He is engaging,enthusiastic, bright, intuitive and humorous. His joy of the sport and teaching are absolutely contagious and speak directly to his success. Chris conveys trust both on the slopes and off, giving parents the utmost confidence and children the sense of being taken care of immediately. The best teachers are keen observers and Chris is bar none. He tailors his instruction with specific actions that yield quick results. I can't say enough good things about Chris, but my sons endorsement comes by way of refusing to ski with anyone else!! Thank you Chris!!

Huge growth for me with me not having much sking experience at age 40, Winter of 2014 I started working with Chris Shea, if it was not for him I may have given up the sport. Talk about a real professional who loves what he does and works so hard to make sure his lessons are the best anyone could ever provide. From a 1 to 10, I would give Chris a 20+. His ideas on learning are like no other. Super excited to be working with him for my second year on the slopes. Best Instructor in the country. A great person as well.
