About

I have been skiing since I was 2 years old and began skiing at Mt Baker WA when my dad was working at the ski school there for Franz Gable.  We shortly thereafter, moved to the Tacoma area and I began skiing at Crystal Mountain.  Crystal is my mountain home.  I have a very broad range of experience in the skiing industry to include: Junior Racing, Airborne Eddie Ferguson Freestyle camps, U.S. Ski Team Alumni, NCSA competitor and coach, Certified ski instructor since age 15, Professional free skier in Big Mountain and Skier cross, Youth freeride program director for Snowperformance and Crystal Mountain, Pro Sales Rep for several outdoor industry companies, and much more.
I love to share my experience, love and energy for skiing to todays young participants.  To see them smile and enjoy something that is so much a part of my life brings true happiness to me!!!
I currently ski exclusively on HEAD hardgoods and use a variety of other brands for clothing and other equipment.  My go to for goggles is SMITH.
My favorite run at Crystal Mountain is a hard one. I love all of the South Back Country and North Brand X, but nothing beats a chairline frontside run first thing in the morning on a powder day.
My favorite ski area is a toss between Whistler and the Chamonix Valley.
When I'm not on the snow, I'm either spending quality time with my wife and family,  at my other job as a professional firefighter or training for my next Ironman.
Hope to see you on the slopes!!!
