About

I teach snowboarding because I love helping people to learn new skills they never thought they'd be able to accomplish. I enjoy teaching first timers through seasoned riders who want to step up their game. From the basics to the minute details, I am happy to teach it all.  I currently ride a Lib Tech Attack Banana, but I have a few other boards stashed away at home. When I'm not on snow I enjoy surfing, wakeboarding, cars, movies and many more of life's pursuits.

When I think of snowboarding, i think of Justin. If it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be into the sport as much as i am now. I've had experience with other instructors around New England mountains but never the same experience as Justin can give. I kept coming back for more as my progression grew too. Besides the riding he let me know about mountain deals and even how to buy my first board. When you are with him you can tell he's not doing it for the money, but rather for the thrill of sharing the sport and interest in someone else.

When my day with Justin started, we were just casually riding while he corrected the basics here and there. Simple things like posture, swinging arms, and other bad habits I didn't even realize I had picked up. Justin is a very good instructor, and was able not only to point them out, but also provide ways to counteract and correct. As the day progressed, I was able to focus and feel the improvement immediately. Later, Justin helped me tackle some larger jumps in the park - giving me advice on stability in the air, what to do if you come in too fast and what to do if you come in too slow. I've always been afraid of the park, but Justin got me over that by teaching me how to tackle the park safely. I highly recommend Justin.
