My family has been sking with Alex for three years now. He is absoultely great!! He has taught our whole family how to ski. He started with my son when he was 12 and over the last three years has taken him from a complete novice to now skiing double blacks and getting ready to head into hiking territory. In, the meantime, he also took me from novice to almost expert skier. All the time, teaching fundamental skills and safety and truly inspriring a love for skiing. So much so, we brought my wife and daughter (now 13) out to learn to ski from him last year. In two years, he has taken them from not knowing how to put skiis on to being lovers of skiing who are now confident on almost any groomed trail and are ready to start taking on moguls and trees!. Even more impressive than his ability to teach skiing, Alex is truly a great person who can relate and teach kids and adults of any age. He is honest, trustworthy, kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone who is looking to learn more about skiing at any level!

My son has taken a few group lessons with Alex at Copper Mountain. He has made more progress in a few weeks than he did ALL of last season at another mountain. We couldn’t be happier! Alex is an amazing teacher for the students and also very communicative with the parents - what we love most is the fact that our child is talking about coming back the following weekend before we are even in the car to drive home. If you want your young skier to make huge strides quickly, look no further. Alex is 100% a five star instructor.

Alex was amazing! My husband and I have been skiing for four years and have always taken a group lesson at Copper Mountain. This is the first time we've had a private lesson and Alex definitely made the difference. I learned more in one hour with Alex than the 4 years in group lessons. His positive attitude helps build your confidence and his calming presence makes you feel like you can ski for days. Thanks Alex! We will definitely be calling you next year.

Alex was great. I am an intermediate to advance skier, but I brought my 6 year old daughter and her 15 year old uncle who had never skied before along with my wife who hadn't skied in over 10 years. He was excellent with my daughter and getting the rest of the group started and managing the different skill levels all at once. He had my 6 year old daughter going down the instruction slop decent at lunch and he had her 15 year old uncle going down the slopes in the afternoon on his first trip ever. My Wife, daughter, and I will be visiting again in the next few months and we will be contacting and requesting Alex.

we are 8 year old twins (my dad is helping us to do this) - we really enjoyed Alex as an instructor! He is funny and great with kids! He made our ski trip really great! Thanks Alex you are the BEST

My 8 year old daughter had a group lesson with Alex at Keystone and really enjoyed working with him. He is enthusiastic and bonds with his students, giving each one personal attention. My daughter and I then shared a private lesson with Alex, which was a blast! He is great at catering the lesson to the client, based on his/her comfort level and interests, but keeps it fun for everyone. I was impressed with the care and encouragement he provided her, and we saw a huge improvement in her skiing. He spoke with her about her interests, then used that to create fun games down the mountain for her to help hone her skills. When she went to additional group lessons after our private (that he unfortunately wasn't teaching), he made sure to talk with her instructors to let them know her skill level and to find my daughter to chat about her day. She is so excited about skiing and tackling new terrain with his encouragement! In my case, I had an ACL tear in the past that impacts how and what I ski. Alex was able to give me a few pointers that immediately helped me ski better, more in control, and with less strain on my knee. I've had pushy and dull instructors in the past and Alex is neither - very friendly and constructive, helpful feedback. Additionally, he recommended some hidden expert terrain for my husband to go explore, who said it was one of the most fun ski experiences he's had. I highly recommend Alex as an instructor for all ages and skill levels!

My 10 year old daughter had had one lesson prior to enrolling her in Kroosers this year. I can say with the utmost confidence that we truly lucked out scoring Alex. My daughter was nervous and very unsure of giving skiing another shot, but instantly meshed with Alex who put her at ease and worked to build her confidence. She now loves the sport and asks every day when we are going back to the mountains and if she can ski with Alex. Thanks for your hard work and dedication in creating confident, skilled skiers!

My daughter Finley who will be 8 in a few weeks had her very first experience on skis with Alex in a session with the Keystone Kroosers. She bonded with him right away and after her 1st day of over 7 hours on the snow, still wanted to get back on the lift and ski more. She was hooked! After three lessons she is a level 4. I felt very comfortable to leave him in care of my child. I am so pleased to recommend Alex and hope to have more lessons with him in the future.
