I have been skiing for 47 years and absolutley love it since I put them on. Winter is my favorite season and can't hardly wait for the snow to fall and the resorts to open. This will be my 5th year teaching at Hogadon and was the best decision I ever made. I love the teaching process especially when somone is very timid, shy, or scared but, by the end of the lesson they are turning and confident in the skills they have learned. The joy on children's faces and the accomplishment of doing something that was very intimidating is the reward I feel everytime I teach. I enjoy the excitement when they yell at their parents..."look I am turning or I am skiing"!!!! That reward is the best feeling in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I have skied all over the world and have taught my oldest grandkids to even ski at Snow Basin Resort in Ogden Utah. Hogadon is one of the best places to learn to ski. Its great to see students who I have taught in the past want to learn more and the new students succeed at something they thought was impossible.
I would love to teach you or your child to ski and learn the skills I have learned in my years of skiing and teaching. I am constantly learning new techniques and improving on how to teach to all who want to learn or improve their skiing ability.
