Robin Calitri

My wife and I had a private lesson with Robin at Gunstock in January, 2017. I have been skiing for years but had developed some bad habits and techniques over a fear of falling or losing control over the last few years after breaking my hip (not a skiing injury). Robin was able to bring back and refine the skiing skills I had before the injury so that I am now much more confident and no longer take up most of the slope doing slow turns. It sounds counter intuitive but I now feel much safer on the slopes, skiing faster and doing quick turns. It is also a lot less tiresome. My wife needed some different help to refine her turning technique. Robin delivered on all counts in a friendly, low key and effective manner. I would highly recommend Robin.

Robin was a great instructor with a group of very mixed skill levels. I look forward another lesson with him. My 16yr old had him for a beginners lesson and learned well with him. Lucky to have had him.

Robin is truly not only a great person but a great ski instructor. I had the pleasure of him instructing me in a way that will stay with me forever. He has energy that gets passed onto everybody he speaks to. I can't wait till my next lesson. Well that's what I said last season and guess what this season he knocked the "Snot" right out of me. Robin was great - he really helped me out and gave me good tips in one hour that I worked on for the rest of the day. Wendy, the other woman who joined us ad-hoc, told me after the session that the group of nine women who do season pass holder clinics together likes Robin the best out of all of the instructors.

Robin is an amazing instructor and person. He was very encouraging and always remembered to correct me in a manner that was uplifting and easy to understand. I would love to take all of my future lessons from him!
