About

Future Shredders! Come ski with me at Blue Mountain!

I've grown up at Blue Mountain and it holds a special place in my heart. I learned to ski at age 5 from my mom who was a ski instructor there at the time. She enrolled my brother and I in the B.M. Race Program, which I particpated in every winter weekend for 5 years! When I was 15 years old I started teaching in the childrens department (Explorers) at Blue. I worked in the childrens department for 3 seasons before moving up to the general learning center to teach all different age groups.

Itching for more time and involvement at Blue, I joined the summer crew throughout high school and college to be a summer camp counselor and eventually Activities Director. If you haven't heard about Blue Mountain's Adventure Camp you're missing out! Here's the link to check it out: https://www.skibluemt.com/outdoor-adventures/summer-camp/.

After studying biology at Millersville University I took a position with the Lehigh Valley Zoo as a Conservation Educator. I now visit schools, nursing homes, rehab centers, libraries, and more with animals from the zoo to educate and connect the public to wildlife.

I've taken on a full time career and life mission of non traditional education that fuels care and consideration for the natural world. In other words, being a ski instructor is one my contributions to making our community a more sustainable, connected, healtier, and educated one. So come join the fun!

You can call our Learning Center and request me as your private lesson instructor. Hope to see you on the snow!
