About

I started skiing when I was 16 years old and have been in love with the sport every since!  I have been a PSIA certified ski instructor for over 30 years and I am currently PSIA Level III, the highest certification level that can be achieved.  I was honored to be chosen in 2002 by Ski Magazine as one of the Top 100 ski instructors in the country. 
Winter is one of my favorite seasons and when I'm not teaching adults or children to ski, I'm out enjoying the slopes with my friends and family.   My first goal is to always make sure you have as much fun on the mountain as I do.

Beginner - Another Program

A born and raised Florida girl going skiing - boy was I terrified. Thankfully I had Dave Finn there to guide me. He is the best! With his guidance and teaching I was able to learn and feel confident in my balance, turns, stops and speed. He took me from 1 ski to 2 on flat land, then onto the bunny hill and down Castor all within 1 afternoon. I never thought I'd be able to ski comfortably but he made sure I felt in control at all times. It was as if he could see the panic on my face and I would hear him gently remind me to turn and slow down when I was getting ahead of myself. He made the lesson incredibly fun and is so knowledgeable about his sport! Every little bit of information or exercise had a purpose and helped tremendously. I can't wait until my next trip up north so that I can take another refresher course with Dave Finn!
