This is my second year teaching, but I've been snowboarding for 8 or 9 years. In the snowboard lessons we teach the fundamentals needed to accelerate the learning experience into a fun and active sport. We also recommend that the students have snow gear such as jackets, snowpants, goggles, gloves, HELMETS, and a hat. I remember when I first started learning how to snowboard and how scared I was to get out on the snow and on top of that have both my feet strapped to a board that I had no control over.... But I took lessons from the ski school to gain control over my board and balance and by having that knowledge I was able to apply it to my learning style and embrace the snow and have a blast!
