I have skied on tele gear for decades after I found I could access the backcountry and find fresh tracks under my own power. I could also do multi day / week tours in a remote areas and explore. I became a NYSDEC Lci. Guide, and got certifications in WFA, CPR, High Angle and Low Angle Rescue to start indroducing people to the backcountry. This training gave me a good foundation to teach others how to be safe and happy while in the mountains. When I am not at Bolton I am in the Northeast MT Ranges, Rockies, Serrias, or Canada looking for a fun line.
