About
I live in New Jersey but have a second home in West Dover, VT. I am currently a high school junior and have been working with the program at Mount Snow since 2014. I was motivated to start volunteering by my niece, Shannon Burns, who has Down syndrome and have enjoyed helping her to get down the mountain along with assisting all of my other "students". Every year I run a Team Shanny fundraiser to help support Adaptive Sports.
In addition to this program, I work with TryCAN in Summit, NJ which helps children with physical or mental disabilities gain new social skills. During the school year, I am on my high school's cross country team, the ski race team and track team. I love skiing and enjoy teaching all ages. From December-mid March I volunteer during many weekends as well as during the December holiday break.
