About
I have been a teacher and coach in Idaho for 25 years. Currently, I am teaching 8th grade history in Mountain Home, Idaho. My coaching experience includes football, basketball, and track, from elementary students to young adults. Several years ago I realized that I could blend all the things I enjoy; teaching, coaching, and skiing together as a ski instructor!
I enjoy so many things in the great outdoors, not just skiing. Hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking keep me busy in the months I am not skiing. During winter I enjoy downhill skiiing, of course, as well as snow shoeing and cross country skiing. My family and I have found teaching & coaching skiing to be a great way to share our love for the outdoors. The best part of teaching is sharing the amazing things that Idaho has to offer. I am a PSIA Children's Specialist and my coaching and education experiences with youth has made me a strong and patient children's instructor. Movement analysis is also a coaching strength and I can help troubleshoot skiing issues that you may have to help make your time on the slopes easier and more efficient. I look forward to helping you and your family enjoy our great resort, state, and the sport of skiing!
