About
Hello! My name is Jake O'Connell, and I am a Ski Instructor in the Ski and RIde School at Bolton Valley! I am also a senior from UVM expecting to graduate this May with a B.S. degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism, with a minor in Geospatial Technologies. I am here completing my Senior Internship, by learning more about the skiing industry. It helps that skiing is one of my passions!
My previous employment includes five summers worth of work and training at Camp Maple Street, in Essex Junction, my hometown, working with kids ages 6-12. While it seems I have a speciality, I am excited to teach all ages! Teachers need to know it always a good time to practice patience, no matter who the student, or what the topic!
Skiing itself is a skill, and so is skiing with a group! I look to aid in individual skills, and how to keep everyone in the group safe and happy while on the slopes. Hope to see you up at Bolton Valley!
