About

Skiing has been a passion of mine since I first spent a winter in Taos, New Mexico. The high mountains always call to me, enticing me to climb ever higher. Learning to ski was the best way to answer those calls. I am passionate about sharing what I've learned with others who also want to climb higher and have as much fun as possible on the way back down. My classes are packed with lots of fun and intuative learning, and always framed in by safety.

Advanced - 5 Hour Private Kids Ski Package

My son Samuel was fotunate to ski with Josh a coupke of times during some great early March powder days. Joshua helped Sammy navigate through the steeps and trees and worked on improving his freeriding. Great instructor. We even have some great Go Pro vids to relive the lessons.

Beginner - Fix-It

Josh was highly recommended to teach my son whom had never skied. He did not disappoint. He had excellent patience and compassion while keeping the lesson fun. I'm very impressed at how quickly he learned. I don't think he ever felt discouraged as Josh focused on learning while ensuring he had a good time. Thank you for pouring into my son. Bless you

Beginner - 2 Hour Morning Adult First Timer Ski Private Package

My son Langston did many lessons with Josh in December. He loved skiing with him. They had a great time. He gave him lots of confidence and they explored the mountain and tried new adventures. Had lots of positive energy and works well with all ages. Thank you

Beginner - 2 Hour Morning Adult First Timer Ski Private Package

I had a lesson with Josh in December. It was great. He helped me to relax and just have fun. I went from snow plowing everywhere to parallel turns that day. Had a great time. Awesome instructor. Really listens and helps you feel confident. Thank you.

Intermediate - Kids Group Package Ski

Our son had Josh in TrailBlazers during the 2016-17 winter and loved his time with him. He learned a TON from Josh about all-Mountain skiing and had an incredible time with him! I’d highly recommend Josh!

Beginner - Another Program

Josh did a excellent job with my fiancé and myself, we couldn’t have asked for better. He far exceeded our expectations! Kept it fun and informative on how to become a good skier. He was awesome! We loved it and would like to take another lesson with him soon. Thanks Josh!

Beginner - Night Owl Private 2 Hour Ski

I took a one-hour beginner ski lesson with Josh. My previous skiing experience included three runs down the bunny hill the day before my lesson, but otherwise I'm brand new. I used to snowboard, so Josh was able to use my previous snow-sport knowledge and apply it to skiing. We mainly focused on learning to turn smoothly and what small movements in my knees and feet to use to achieve this. I feel like he did a great job of paying attention to my movements to understand my hangups and help me progress without pushing me to do something I wasn't ready to do. It's given me a lot of great basics to focus on as I continue to practice and learn on my own until my next lesson!
