About
I teach skiing to children and adults. I started skiing in Oregon and Washington 49 years ago as a child and love sharing the mountain experience with students. I specialize in building skills and confidence in my students and equipping them to reach their ski goals in a fun and safe environment.
My first teaching experience was in high school at Snoqualmie Pass. I taught skiing at Summit West near Seattle for Fiorini Ski School and Cascade Ski School from 2004-2015. This season will be my seventh season teaching for Tamarack.
I hold the highest level of speciality credentials for both Children and Senior skiers in addition to Level III Alpine certification through PSIA-AASI (Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors). I am involved with training new instructors at Tamarack and am passionate about all things skiing.
I am a Seattle transplant and moved to McCall in 2015 to ski and enjoy the sun and no traffic and no lift lines. Tamarack is the right place for all those things!
In the off season, I work for a river rafting company, enjoy biking, paddle boarding, Pilates and hiking.
